AmaWaterways is a member of La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs so it is no surprise that their Chef’s Table experience is drool worthy. The best part is it comes at no extra charge! Every AmaWaterways guest can dine at the Chef’s Table.
If you are familiar with tasting menus then this is the meal for you! If you are not familiar then expect tiny portions of well decorated dishes each with a distinct flavor, texture, color, and aroma. You might initially be underwhelmed by the portion sizes, but remember that many dishes are coming!
The only big difference from typical tasting menus is the lack of a specific wine pairing per dish. Despite this difference, the sommelier is more than happy to recommend a good glass or six for your meal and you are welcomed with a special cocktail at the start. So I have no complaints that they do it differently in this way.
Tasting menus differ from season to season and different ships have different layouts and views. So what I show here is only an idea of what you can get at the Chef’s Table. I promise it is infinitely better to experience first hand!
Overall the experience is beyond worthwhile. I get delicious food, good wine, excellent service, and a view all at once! I recommend everyone who sails with AmaWaterways to try their Chef’s Table and if you have not yet sailed with AmaWaterways then you are missing out.
